So, it's moments past Valentines Day. Granted, it's a useless holiday amounting to headache, heartache or both; but cynicism has become as cliche as puppy love, so I'm trying to break out. I'm putting together a show all about being in love and actually enjoying it (for the most part) while not letting heart ruin the music. This is a collection of great love songs that still fit into the KXLU spirit (again, for the most part).
I also have a guest in the studio: Jake Weiss, a 15 year old with the best taste I've ever seen on a kid this young. Frankly, I never trust anyone who's musical taste was never, at any point, terrible. Musical skeletons in one' s closet build character. I'm making an exception for Jake though because he's Danny Gabai's cousin.
