While writting my last blog, I was sitting and listening to an accordion player outside my window with laughs of children and chatter from gossiping women, in my small plaza Olavide, in Madrid.
Now, the transmitter is running loudly, the phones are ringing and I'm back in Los Angeles. I have been for a month and the differences just make me homesick for my plaza, the wonderful lady I lived with and the city I wandered around in for 6 weeks. I love L.A., I love KXLU, but I looked up a google map of my old plaza and metro stops and got a little sad.
le sigh
However, we begin a new year, a new FUNDRAZOR drive, and a whole new school year, which feels more like the new year to me, than January 1st. Also, I get to do my show from 6-10am every monday! I loveeee doing my show and I hope y'all listen at my new time!
