9/18/09: Italic Indian Live at Five on KXLU

The last day of Fundrazor... every KXLU employee was in a state of extreme sleep deprivation, confused and angry at the world.  We needed all the help we could muster to make it through the home stretch.  Then Italic Indian came.  They played a sludgy, noisy, groovy, adjectives-can't-quite-describe-it set to mark the end of the 2009 Fundrazor. 
It. Was. Awesome.

9/17/09: Kill Kill Kill Live at Six on KXLU

It was the Thursday before Fundrazor, and who happened to show up at the station but our pals from Kill Kill Kill. 
A local noise/metal/experimental band, they've been involved with KXLU for a long time; heck, they recorded an album there.  So, as always, it was a pleasure to hear from the band.

9/16/09: Monotonix LIVE AT FIVE on KXLU

Monotonix played an awesome, heavy set for Fundrazor 2009.  These guys are from Tel Aviv, play guitar rock, and have some of the best live antics that KXLU has ever seen.  You really gotta watch the video on this one.

9/15/09: Miranda Lee Richards LIVE AT SIX on KXLU

Two live sessions in one day? That's unheard of!  But yes, this Tuesday we had not only a Live at Five, but also an unprecedented Live at Six performance.  Miranda Lee Richards came to KXLU and played a serene, acoustic set.

9/15/09 Tijuana Panthers LIVE AT FIVE on KXLU

The Tijuana Panthers came from Long Beach to play their brand of Southern Californian garage rock during KXLU Fundrazor 2009.  Awesome set, guys.

9/11/09: BATTLEHOOCH LIVE AT FIVE on KXLU

Battlehooch kicked off KXLU Fundrazor 2009 with some high-energy bay area psych pop.  Normally an electric band, they played an exclusive acoustic set for you KXLU fans.

8/14/09: David Liebe Hart and Adam Papagan LIVE AT FIVE on KXLU

David and Adam of public access fame performed a long set this evening.  They played some old favorites, took some requests, and even made up songs on the spot.
